Ceramics Workshops
This mural, made from raku tiles, was designed and produced by a total of 20 people who attended three one-day workshops, sponsored by Ryedale District Council, in August and September, 1997. The group included children from 7 years of age. No-one had previous experience of ceramics. Angela Hayward of Rural Arts North Yorkshire led the workshops in Terrington Village Hall.

Botanical Drawing Weekend
Bridget Gillespie worked with 12 enthusiastic participants over 2 days in October 2009. She demonstrated her work and gave hints and tips to everyone from beginners to experienced artists. All were new to the intricate art of botanical drawing, but everyone came away with something to show for their time and an interest in taking further this specialised art form.
